Hey

Is this normal for coolant or do you think it has been contaminated with oil?

Also looks like there's been contamination of the timing belt cover. Engine was making a weird intermittent squeal which I though may have been water pump, but guess it could be oil on the timing belt!

Not got the classic mayo, and engine oil looks normal to me, but could be a blown head gasket I suppose.

Thanks for any advice!

Looks like rust in the tank, nothing to worry about. And thats your auxiliary belt, not the timing belt!

Agree with Steve206. A flush and coolant change my be advisable. Keep things from deteriorating. Smile

Thanks guys.

Steve - I know, just above is the cover for the timing belt though and you can see there's a distinctive line where it changes colour, presumably from a leak.
