For the first time in decades, next month’s MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix at Croft Circuit will feature on terrestrial television as the organisers have clinched a deal with Channel 4. Extensive highlights are to be shown meaning a chance for fans to relive the action and vital exposure for competitors contesting the prestigious event at the North Yorkshire circuit on Sunday 6th November. In addition, Saturday’s round of the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship will feature satellite coverage on Motors TV as normal. Class structures have also been confirmed for Supercars, Super National and Super 1600 (all minimum of National A license) along with categories in the final round of the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship including Suzuki Swift Sport, Hot Hatch, BMW Mini, RX150, all of which require a minimum of National B license as well as the Suzuki Swift Juniors. Regulations and further details are available at www.rallycrossuk.com and entry forms are available at http://www.rallycrossuk.com/documents/entry/round8.pdf. Any prospective competitors wishing to compete at the event should note that there are still a few cars available for hire. Anyone interested should contact Kevin Procter on 01677 425203 for more information. Entries are still available but all classes are rapidly filling up so any remaining competitors who intend entering are advised to submit their entries as soon as possible. A Media Day will take place on Friday 4th November at Croft Circuit from 10am to 2pm with invited drivers. Further information and details of the event are available at www.facebook.com/rallycrossgp and www.twitter.com/rallycrossgp. Adult ticket prices are £8 on the Saturday and £15 on the Sunday or £18 for a weekend ticket. Advance tickets are available until October 28th and more information can be found at www.croftcircuit.co.uk.
