| Ah tht dnt mata thn cos me mate os doin it all for me. The front brakes had to come off anyway as brembos arw goin on and im changing the master brake cylinder so its only a bot mre bleeding for him to do |

It doesn't matter if it gets painted but simply polishing it with autosol would have looked much better.
That also means you wouldn't have had the hassle of removing the brake pipe (and bleeding them afterwards) and handbrake cable! |

| well his son is a mechanic and he is down there most of the time so he should know that anyway, does it mater if the bit that dont need painting gets painted ??? cheers |

Because it's in 2 parts. There's a alloy block part with the piston and handbrake mechanism. This part doesn't need painting. There's also the C shaped section that's made from steel. That's the only bit that needs painting.
The gold part is the only bit that needs painting...

The rest of the caliper is alloy and doesn't need painting.

| All sorted now. Me nate managed to get the handbrake disconected and they are now down the shop getting painted |

| Thats the only part that is really visable, otherwise you'll have to take the whole caliper off and bleed the brakes, Take a look at edwards Garage. |

howcome. The only prob with that is im taking thm sumwhere to get painted :s |

| Right im trying to remove my rear brake callipers as hey are geting painted tomorow. The only problem is we cant get the handbrake calliper disconected. Does anyone know a good way to remove it cheers |
