What He Said ,but I don't think it needs silicone sealant,because he says that he bought a new one,but if he means a new one (used),then he should monitor it as you said Smile

Aerial base should really always be siliconed sealed for added piece of mind.

PSA Peugeot / Citroen have suffered leaking roof aerial seals for 20+ years that I know of Laughing

i've broken my antenna base ! i bought a new one but i don't know how to change it ! i think i should remove interior light area! but i couldn't!
