Huge difference to feel of gear selection for very little money. The gearbox feels like that of an S2000 (honda). Very straight forward install, save as to few scapes on my hands.

Is it a matter of feeling around for them or what? Also I need to ensure the respective lengths are identical correct? I dont what to d**k about taking the battery out, and then having to put the batterry back and drive up on ramps. So it should be ok with access from above only? Many thanks.

Just make sure you do them one at a time so you know what goes back where, and match the linkage removed to one of the new ones to ensure you use the correct one

As Chris has said take the battery tray out as well for ease of access but have a look at my XSi progress blog to give you an idea of how far I went to make it easy for me to fit mine.
