If mine is 97k, and the period is 60k or 5 years, is it possible mines had one already or can some last this long on one cambelt? |
Its possible it might still be on the original timing belt. |
She-ite. I know what I'm going to price up asap then. |

What's the mileage on said 138 and how old is the car? Timing belts have a working life of miles or years, whichever comes first. |

kieron posted one on here for a 2.0i which I used for our CC without any problems.

I used bolts rather than trying to find the cam lock/pins .. which is exactly how a local Pug specialist recommended I did it ... |
Thank you very much mate! Much appreciated! |

You won't get one. It's quite a big job. ECU needs removing, engine needs shifting off the mounts otherwise the covers won't come off...
A Haynes manual is useful but it does the job in a 307 which isn't as difficult. |

Basically as the title says really. Going to buy a timing belt kit as i have an annoying squeel from the timing side of my engine on a 2.0 gti 136.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
