So you’re basically asking on an open public forum for something to help you commit fraud on your insurance........
Have I missed Christmas and woken up on April fool’s day or something.....
We certainly have a clever person here don’t we...... |

they never ask me to provide my current mileage when i renew my policy |
They could get a rough idea of mileage by checking the mot database |
That would work if the car is over 3 years old |

Might not have been them, or it was something along those lines anyway I can't remember. |

I've never understood how limited mileage policies can be enforced. I am insured to drive my 206 1,500 miles a year. Not a problem as it will do less than 1,000 miles.
What's to stop somebody else using their own insurance to drive the car and do more miles? The risk my insurance company is covering is when I drive the car, so what's it got to do with them if somebody else drives it with their own policy? |
Insurance companies can't enforce half the things they want, they just persume that people will abide.
Same goes for named drivers.
Although the policy holder must use the car more than name drivers even if the name driver drove it 100% of the time and crashed all they have to say is they took it out once to go to the shops. |
A lot of policy's have a clause that say "The vehicle must not cover more than X amount of miles during the duration of the policy" or something along those lines.
Although I think it was Footman James or someone that had a loophole on their limited policy's. They checked the miles on the car when the policy finished but they didn't check at the start and relied on what the policy holder said; a lot of people were saying the mileage on their car was higher than it was when they took the policy out. When RSA bought it up they have/are going to closed the loophole.
Not quite so simple. My sister works in insurance fraud and she says its easy to tell especially if they are under pressure as they slip up or muddle their story's. |

I tell my insurance that I will do 8000 miles a year, I've never been asked what mileage the car is on so they won't know if I do 5000 or 50000.
I know one of the black box companies quoted me a decent price but only if I did a limited amount of driving in rush hour (something like 50 hours through the year) and drove mainly after 8pm at night. Needless to say that quote was binned. |
i got a quote from that insure the box on a comparison site, was a few hundred quid cheaper, but once you hit the limit, it you had to buy more miles
i tell mine i do about 8k a year, this year i havent done that, last year i did more.....never been asked the mileage tho |

Being honest here, you are way too deep in your depth. You should have been honest with the insurance in the first place and then you wouldn't have been in this predicament |
