they are metal clips and you simple clip the arches on 5 minute job, whomever you bought them off has screwed them on by the sounds of it!
Personally would use clips with the arches.

If they are official arches (not third party cheap Chinese ones) then they should have a number of rectangular holes on the inside.
You attach the supplied rubber strip to the side of the arch which touches the cars paintwork, then press the arch up against the car and clip the black metal clips around the rear of the arch and cars bodywork into the rectangular hole.
Standard arch fitting uses no screws.
Others on here have glued them on, riveted them on or even screwed them into the cars bodywork, but clipping means they can be removed with no damage to the car and works just as well (when done correctly) IMO.
Type "Peugeot 206 Wheel Arch Extension Fixing Clips" into eBay to see what they look like if needs be.

as title states.
would like to know how to fit these, i have sent them off to be painted but i am not 100% on how to put them on, ive got screws supplied but no idea what they are for.
