Wouldn't be a bad idea just in case it's picked up and debris from the old sump. |

Undo bolts move bottom engine mount back clean mating surfaces re seal with hi temp gasket sealant and refit bolts wait till dry refill with oil check for leaks job done ! |

You have the replacement, just use that to work out where the bolts pass through. Simple as really. |

has anyone got a how to on the above, have a gti 180, has a damaged sump but have a replacement sump. mant thanks |
