There you go...two bolts hold it in place.

Removed just the pulley and replaced it with the nex pulley. Working fine and so much easier than removing the whole tensioner unit.

| not that I am aware of. Take the 14mm bolt out of the middle of the tensioner |

True, I'm sure its not brain surgery, but I'm looking up the side of the pulleys looking for the two bolts to undo and can't see them. Does it have to be tensioned back to get to them? |

is it the one with the peg holding the tension off? IIRC there are only two bolts and fir belt..... pull pin out and run  |

As title, Does anyone have a pictorial tutorial on how to remove / replace the auxiliary belt tensioner pulley on a 1999 206 GTI with AC and PS??
I bought a new one as my 206 has shredded 3 aux belts in as many weeks, but I cant find the bolts to remove to fit it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
