I had the exact same problem as you when I changed my beam for a old model. I tried the same as you, changing plug, buying sensors and then found out that the hubs needed to match.

Do you have access to PP2000 as it may be a problem with the throttle pedal itself as it has a position sensor within it. |

I didn't touch the rear engine mount. Had to remove the top engine mount to removed the cam covers and of course the belt.

I changed the cam belt and fuel pump in about 5 hours but that was the first time I had done it on a 2.0HDI.
£400 sounds fairly steep as the kit is only about £100 including the water pump! |

Did this a while ago on my own car, took two people to pull it off. Just make sure you have every bolt clear before you start pulling. |

Iv already moved the coolant bottle but if you move the battery your going to end up with loads of pipe work so might as well get an intercooler. |

That is the big question.... I have a few ideas but iv not measured it up yet.
If I went for the charge cooler the only place it could have been was sat on the exhaust manifold so not to great. |

Sadly no progress. Moved to university so the car is parked up at home. Thinking about ditching the charge cooler idea and fit a twin pass intercooler to the front. |
