OK
Fault fixed, turned out to be an electrical connector. |

In the past when light comes on I have just changed air filter and light goes back off.
Should this light stay on until fault is cleared |

Hi all
1.4 HDI 206
Engine light came on and found it was the pipe from air box to turbo had rotted away from turbo end, replaced pipe but light still on. Any ideas people |

Thanx for your reply.
Due to the fuel injection system is it possible for fuel to come backwards.
I think the problem may be my local back street garage, they had the car recently, I wonde ... |

My 206 is stalling intermittently when stopping. The air filter is wet with a strong smell of petrol.
How can petrol get into the air filter box?
Could this be causing the stalling? |

I have had this problem twice since having my HDI. Both times it's been the air filter, easy to check, take it out and see if the problem goes away. If it does a good few taps against a wall will clea ... |

While stationary(Handbrake on), engage 3rd gear and keep revs up to 3000 or more, release clutch slowly, if clutch comes all the way up without stalling the clutch needs replacing. |
