My gti has the same issue. My floorboards are damp... I put newspaper between the floorboard and the mats to try to dry it out.

My 100KW GTI has the same issues with 90K miles. I'm having a valve job done and maybe some new rings when I do my 180 intake, TB/306RS cams mod. I'm hoping this will cure the oil consumption problem ...

It's probably the lock washer on the ball joint. If the tab gets separted from were it seats the washer is loose and jingles on uneven surfaces as you described.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think they are all the same. Peugeot wanted about 250.00 euro plus a little more for a piece to modify the servo to fit the GTI. Anyone ever swapped a servo?

When you blocked off your EGR did you put a blank off plate on the block, or did you block the passages in the head? I'm having the passages in the head blocked and I'm wondering if there were issues ...

How is this MOD working out toto? Any problems arise afterwards? Did you ever do a timed 0-60 run after all the mods?

I'm still waiting on the mechanic to finish porting and polishing my cylinde ...
