Guess it's just an old car - getting used to it the more I drive it, and liking the acceleration - even if the revs are too damn high!

yeah that's what I was thinking - 2000 revs seems way to low I'm looking at about 3000 in 3rd for 30 mph?

- how does your car perform on motorways - does 4000 rpm sound about right for 70 mph? Jus ...

Just brought a 1999 Peugeot 206 Xs 1.6 with 26,000 mi on the clock after selling my heap of junk Ford Focus

Not sure if it's just because it's an older car and I'm not used to it or if there is som ...
