This is an intermittent fault btw, would it flag as intermittent if the injector was just getting blocked?

If there's a fault being flagged then the engine power will probably be limited, also known as limp mode. Get the codes read and see what it has to say for itself. Might not be a problem with the tur ...

The 206 1.6 hdi is the same engine as the 207 (i think) its also a modified version of the 1.4 you have, just with slightly bigger cylinders and a couple of other bits including the intercooler

Think the power steering pipes that run across get in the way, i looked into taking the 1.6hdi ...

if you drop a new engine in it don't go for the 1.6 hdi, i would only go for 1.4 or 2.0

trailing arm bearing most likely, the squeek is the broken bearing grinding on the shaft

jack up the rear with the handbrake off and check to see if that arm is wobbling, if it is you should sort it asap before it scores the shaft it sits on
