If I cant get the BSI to reboot and solve the problem what sort of dough am I looking at to replace the unit? & will I have to go to a main dealer?

Got a 2002 xsi, wont start and is coming up with immobiliser fault on display!

RAC came out and got in started for me the other day but is now coming up with the same fault and won't start a ...
