The alfetta is probably due to age wear as that means you could get done for speeding while displaying a lower speed an d no manufactur would send there cars from the production line displaying faster ...

If you axles fine lowering it will wear it out faster. (depending how low u go)
But my axle was lowered and had nackerd bearing and i could see the wheel wobbling and feel it when going around corner ...

I had that on my old axle, the car was lower on one side and you might notice one wheel leaning more at to top if you look from behind at 20 yrds.

I would say map sensor as this has happened to or picasso and i swapped the map sensor to the 206 and it showed the same problem as the sensor is the same problem. £15 ebay
