You normally get airbag warning and handbrake on, etc befiore the battery completely goes, had these symptoms on my previous 2 batterys on the car, never had battery light come on.

Did mine from underneath, wires were corroded in the plug connector.
If i also remember the wires from the horn, goes up to another connector near the fan relays |

If you mean the crankshaft pulley, you have to lock the flywheel/driveplate ring gear, using a special tool, attached to the bellhousing flange, and the ring gear teeth.

Did you disconnect the battery, when you worked on trying to fix your cigarette lighter.

£105 quid is a cracking price to take off and fit a exhaust and rear axle at a garage.
My friend took off and replaced my axle for £100 and that was cheap. |
