Ensure all lights come on on dash... seems obvious but i ran the ignition and it appeared all lights were on but the abs and engine management light were covered with duct tape!... and coil pack went ... |

see my thread on painting my sills!! its easy... even i can do it!! i plan to do all these bits next.. i already had the primer, but the paintmatch tin, lacquer and sand paper cost me about £10! |

I took mine to a garage, the coil pack wasnt a particularly expensive job, but i did get the part at trade price because this exact thing happened to me a month after i bought the car as i was coming ... |

My Engine Management Light is on pretty much permenantly due to an "ageing cat" only way to fix it is to get it switched off and ignore it (it comes back on pretty quickly) or with an O/E cat, use a p ... |

thanks for that, are they easy to fit or is it best to get the garage to do it? it has a small amount of give but not lots, to shut it again we just gently opened and closed it. |

it took little over an hour and a half! should probably have left it longer to dry thoroughly but its still looking good! |

haha, i cant take the glory, my boyfriend did it, first time spraying on the actual car though! He was showing me how to do it, so im doing the other side at the weekend!... not bad for about £10!! |
