Cheers mate.
Bis shutdown is driver window down all electricals off, bonnet up and leave for 15 mins or so then disconnect battery? Once disconnected i can the. Open doors? That right?

Excellent. Thanks for your help. Any idea how long I need to leave the battery to discharge the airbag? Some people saying 3 mins, some 10-15 and some 30 mins.
Not wanting to have an airbag explod ... |

Going to give this a try today as I got a new 6242c6 comms unit off eBay for £125 instead of the £506 the dealers wanted.
What tools do I need for the job? Torx screwdrivers for removing the cowl ... |
