OK, just to update, because I know you'll all be on the edge of your seats...

The CV does just pop off. A couple of well placed belts with the lump hammer and drift does it no sweat.

Hi all, just registered.

I've got a 206SW 2.0HDi which I've had for a few years now, great trusty car.

It's failed its MOT on a few bits and bobs, most of which I have sorted but one of them is ...
