Looking at $500 here to rebuild the existing one...I would rather just get a new one from the UK for $380 delivered. To buy a new one here is $1000.

How did you guys connect a silicon hose to the ends? I can't see how it could be done...got any pics?

done that. everything looks fine...

When I press the central locking button on my remote, the unit doesn't even try to lock...almost as if no signal is going to it...

the metal pole meaning the lock itself?

If that's what you're referring to...there is nothing blocking it or stopping it from moving freely...

Well I've checked everything and it all looks good. Nothing was disconnected and I think the sound I heard was just the lock falling out of place becasue the foam that is supposed to hold it in place, ...

Where abouts is the solenoid? I can barely see anything inside the door because there isn't any openings really...I'm just feeling my way around in there blindly...lol
