Ok so today I finally got time to look at this, pulled the panel off and moved the latch over.

I could hear the sound of what I thought was an electric motor when I moved the latch, are these prone ...

If I slide the boot lock to unlock will it permanently be unlocked?

I've had my 1.1 now for a lot of years and put up with the CL bouncing all the time but now it won't lock both doors, even with the key in the lock and now the boot lock won't release so I can't open ...

just got the car back last week and it turns out cosmicdance is completely right, crank shaft sensor ......... the little b*****d !! car drives 100% and pulls better from low revs due to the fuel filt ...

I just reread propaintbellas post about the injectors ticking, Claire's car was doing the same when she started it on boxing day.

Could I have injector/sensor fault ?

He is going to get it plugged in when the garage opens up again but ill tell him about the egr valve and if it's not that at least hell clean it and it'll be one less thing to go wrong
