Since the fan is running on low speed with AC on, I assume resistance is not blown (correct me if I am wrong) and the problem is more likely within:

Fuses are all OK.

By your description, yes fan does run at slow speed when the AC is turned on. I have not allowed the car to overheat to test high speed.

Frankly I never gave it a chance to pass beyond 90C and started AC which then brought temperature down.

What if fan is working on high setting? and what if is not working ...

Hi,

The WD-40 only worked for a day or two and the problem is still there. A bit intermittent though.

I have also noticed that slow fan does not kick-in without turning the AC on.

Any suggest ...

Thanks for your input. Slowly I am adjusting myself. So as long as gears are engaging and car is running fine, it should be OK.
