Update on this as it seems to be fixed (no faults in 6 weeks) and might be useful for others.
Changed plugs for Bosch and cleaned the MAF (just in case) |

It hasn't but would incorrect fitment allow it to ever run perfectly at all though? |

Little bit more information which may assist..
The camshaft position sensor was replaced, the oil was Repsol 10W/40, the spark plugs had a reference code of 5960F7 (Google suggests this might be Ch ... |

Went back to garage, annoyingly it has been running 100% fine for the last couple of days. The codes stored though are P0300 & P0341 (I suspect these might be generic codes?). I also checked what they ... |

Also unsure how tappets or the oil would cause an intermittent fault? It can go for days and be perfectly fine with no symptoms at all, surely this is more likely to be caused by something electrical? |

As far as I know it´s the correct oil
Seems like there are a load of known issues for this issue, is there any way of checking which of them it might be before replacing everything? |
