I've just checked the manual now I am in the garage - and sure enough section 10 - diagrams 5.13a and 5.14a show your two washers! Strut is same arrangements on all models, so this is right, so you ne ... |

You should still have a flat washer (larger one) that sits over the threaded part of the shock before it goes into the bearings - so technically - you have one either side. This one is a tad more impo ... |

Things are just being enjoyed with the motor now. Car is absolutely faultless and drives perfectly. Pulls in every gear - few traction problems in 1st and 2nd however |

If you are keeping the air con, then you need to fix this first. The twin speed/twin relay system relies on the ECU putting out the correct signal - so no air con and it will confuse everything.

+ve is shorthand for "positive". You can bridge the pins of the fast speed fan either side of the relay coil, but it is not a good idea. I had planned on modifying the setup anyway as the fan cuts in ... |
