Thanks Edward. I suspected this but wanted to check to be sure. Just because the seat was tested in the SW but not the hatch they haven't approved it for use on the hatch... completely daft.

Our 2004 206 1.1 (48.5k) does exactly what you describe in 1st and Reverse as well. It may be the synchro getting worn, but nothing to worry about IMO.

About 90 seems normal, and I live in the North of Scotland.

I may be wrong but I think the fan runs continuously when AC is on...
