I had a noisy thrust bearing for well over 10k miles. Get it changed as soon as you can afford it. |

You may have to take the strut out then. You need a 3 pin spanner thingy. You may get away with using the tool to take the disk off a angle grinder. I use a plumbers pipe wrench and a long bar which i ... |

wow i never seen a filter break up like that before. That oil is blacker than the ace of spades!
Did you get clumps/lumps out the sump when you drained it? |

Ok ill have a look see what i can find. Shame this wont work on my 98 106 rallye need another system to read fault codes on that one. |

Ahh right ive had this problem with a 106... What it turned out to be was the dampener nut. It needs to be super human tight. If your cars at standard ride height you can get a pipe wrench i between t ... |
