Meant to say - I am not talking about the type of dipstick with the plastic on the end - ie. in the sump - mine is all metal - it's the top part that has come away - the handle....... |

Strange one - well to me anyway - maybe this is a Pug thing dunno....
anyway - the plastic on my dipstick has all come off - leaving just the metal - so cannot get an accurate reading.

it actually came away no problem in the end - unlike the sensor that really did not want to give up it's grip on the backplate....
Happy days - hammered old one out - cleaned up the hole - new one ... |

head on this one looks well chewed - dunno if there is any chance to get any purchase on it - I have surface drive spanners - but even they looked like no good...

MOT man could connect - dunno what he uses - but off side rear sensor has died.....new sensor arriving today - so should be final part in the saga - although someone has already butchered the sensor b ... |

It's all good - now at least can get the fault code read - my crappy reader is basically good for nothing - so MOT man will check....
Hopefully / probably a sensor - and easy fixed.........car live ... |

Dunno if anyone interested - but found the fault - fuse F14 was blowing as at some time in the past - a black box had been fitted into the OBD loom. Seems the box had become faulty - and had caused a ... |

It has the ABS light and the ESP light
The ABS light illuminates then goes out - the ESP is constant. |
