Great cheers all i didnt realise that the clutch was self adjusting but that does make sense.

sorry should have mentioned the noise sounded like it came from the pedal end rather than the engine/gearbox end so i guess cable. |

Yesterday while driving around i depressed the clutch to change down a gear and it click/clunked and the pedal hit the floor...my first reaction was that the clutch cable had broken.

I find that the clutch pedal on my 2003 1.4 8v lx is quite heavy compare to other vehicles i have owned.
Is this normal or is there an issue with say the clutch cable? |

even though it may pop back out you will be lucky to get it back to how it was before without any creasing.

Either to be honest mate I've got 306 alloys and on the front the edge of the tyre goes out past the arch. I think they may be patent parts rather than OE as its had a front end repair so the arches m ... |
