This morning i spilt a large coffee over the dash in my 1.4 01 pug. All over the key which was in the ignition, all down the fascia over the headlight adjust switches etc.

I watch my mileage and always calculate when i fill up. I am getting 42mpg consistently, dual carriageway and round town. I have a 2001 1.4 8v

On my 1.4 8v 2001, I had 2 recon drive shafts fitted recently and they keep popping the clips off on the gaiters. Not sure what they are called, like a jubilee clip.

I have 1.4 8v and regularly get 43mpg,thats mixed driving, some town stuff and some dual carriageway. Nowadays I'm quite happy to do 60mph on dual carriageway.

The pin hole in the bottom of the back box is a weep hole for water. Was told this last week at the tyre/ exhaust place.

Quick update. It wasn't buckled wheels, i swapped them round and no difference.
Took it to the garage that services all our vans. They thought it might be a wheel bearing as it humms also on a right ...

I would thought that if they were buckled then they would have noticed that when they balanced them yesterday.
The wobble seems more pronounced at low speed especially when not under load, you know, ...

I topped my 1.4 and worked out I was getting 45mpg, round country lanes and dual carriageway at about 60-65 mph. I dont thrash mine so quite happy with the economy.

Take the cover from around the cluster off, undo the torx screw and pull speedo unit out. The bulbs are in the back of cluster, small twist lock bulbs. Check they are all tight. If they are, then swap ...
