I am looking at ford focus too, however yours looks like a mk 2 with the face lift, but its only a 54 plate and the face lifts where after 2008...
hhhmm ! Might be the photo angle or your own mods? |

my cam belt went, only cost 400 quid to sort.
8 new valves, new cam belt kit, cylinder head skimmed, new gasket, oil filter, fresh oil and new engine coolant...

Gearbox bearing?
I would go to another garage and get that checked...the thrust bearing dries up and starts to squeal,.When mine came out the bearings felt rough as they span. |

Clutch goes down, squeal stops, clutch comes up to a certain point....squeal starts
New clutch, £200 parts and labour tops |

my speedo motor is also screwed, every time i shut the door it would jump 5 mph backwards. before long i was doing 130mph while parked at work....
I simply glued my own pin to the face of the speed ... |

For a brand new comms 2000 unit? 95 quid seems a little on the cheap side. Anyway I never said I had replaced it, simply it is expensive too replace, not got that sort of money yet. |
