Thanks for the reply Seabrook, I don't know that 1 tappet has gone, it just doesn't sound like multiple 'tapps'!! but what do I know

Hi, I have CC on my 206 GTi and quite often the speed of the fan is quite low and it squeaks like mad, it is doing my head in!
The air is nice and cold and when I turn the fan faster it goes away.

Thanks Lee, I had thought that but the blade fits so it looks like another key.
Do I have to match the transponders like for like? I think this one has a philips chip in it.
