Timing belt at 40k?

The first garage checked loads of stuff and replaced temp sensor and crank sensor - oddly I noticed that the fan someitmes would be on at cold?

It could start run for an hour ...

just spoke to her and she said he sprayed something and it was under bonnet so guess that rules the fuel pump out. Amazingly she did not get the guys name / number so we can give him a buzz and ask mo ...

Me and my GF bought a W Reg 206 LX last year for £1K2 - it had 2 previous owners and 34K on clock - it was immac - what a bargain we thought - finally something good happened to us .... then 4 month ...
