The thing you have to realise is the emissions is done through a computer, and not the MOT tester, so MOT tester cant be blamed for this,it either passes or fails as per emission data

Oh ok no problems just sometimes people don't realise you can re weld plastic and saves a bit of money in most cases

As above check tyre sizes and pressures, then get 4 wheel aligned, where shouts in the UK are you as i have these facilities at my work, can do before and after prints too

As long as it clears and doesn't protrude the arches and stick out too far should be ok, just make sure it doesn't catch anything else,on full lock either way,brake pipes/abs wires, plus what's wrong ...
