I had this problem on my 5 door and it was a rear door I pushed on each door when closed hard 1 by 1 and tried locking each time by chance it was the passenger rear door. I just chopped the open door ... |

i had the same fault on my 2.0 hdi which i have just got about 3 weeks ago. Im not saying this is how to set it but it made my gauge more accurate than empty being at a quarter tank.

Had the same problem with my rear hub on my 1.4HDI. i got a large round punch and a big hammer and punched the stub axle through the middle of the drum and out the back. it does take some doing but yo ... |

think my oil dipstick may be wrong as the end is slightly bent over ? Ive heard they sometimes have a plastic bit on the end and was told its probably snapped off. Its a 1.4 Hdi and so i was wondering ... |

The hole in th bottom of the wheel has a wire inside. You may need someone else or find a way to hold the steering wheel tight because on mine I swapped out the standard wheel for a GTI one and I put ... |
