worst bits when you end up pulling the driveshaft out the box by mistake and getting gearbox oil everywhere. |

you shouldn't have a problem finding one mate at worst there around £150 tops on ebay.
just depends wether or not you would do it yourself?
shouldn't take more than a day if your quite competan ... |

its hard to diagnose but when i had my 1.1 the rev counter would bounce from anywhere between 900-2000 rpm on idle also it would try and accelerate to 2000rpm when driving which meanat i had to consta ... |

same problem here hasnt had the head done but I changed the coolant not sure if i got it all out though and after filling it up it goes down slowly and its brown |

My old mans off to look at a 2.0 hdi d turbo 206 sw in china blue.
its done 111k and looks fairly tidy
other than the obvious looking for leaks/rust/broken bits, listening for knocks and noises ... |

I wouldve put money on it that I had missed a bolt was looking for ages turns out its just fookin hard.
got a breaker bar and about broke my foot jumping on it but it did pop out in the end.

Think itll be a late 306 with the cheaper tax
Should £1500 get me a good example? I expect the usual peugeot faults
just looked on autotrader and theres only 50 on there at the moment |

Whats your thoughts on a 306 hdi ?
I think the shape is timeless its just there a little old now worries me about parts
There again my 206 is a T reg and still going strong |

citroens as well I've looked at the 307 not sure if the 2.0hdi is the same lump though.
I may settle for a 306 just would like a newer (ish) car thats bulletproof or can be fixed with duct tape. |
