gpvecchi, think it is both sides, seems worst on passenger side (which has had a new bottom arm).
kandlbarrett - definitely the suspension, engine components & aux are secure.
Just waiting on so ... |

Same here, I'd be interested to find out if you sorted. I have similar fault, changed Temp sensor (cheers for heads up on that Mattymj), that cured poor revving, but get the same drop/recover of rev's ... |

Nice one Mattymj, went to local dealer (took a flyer) and bought the temp sensor. Fitted new standard plugs first - so I now know how long they have been in.

Springs seated OK, had a top mounting (the rubber) go on last GTI and it was more on turning - was like a grinding/grumble when turning - the bearings had collapsed.
No visible leaks on the shocks/ ... |
