ok then yeah must be the crankshaft pulley , not too expensive to get sorted but best to do it before it goes . |

the 2.0 hdis are known common fault for bottom pulley (crankshaft pulley) they make loud annoying ticking noise when there going i had one and had pulley done bout 3 times .
Im not sure if same on 1. ... |

i paid £20 on ebay for mine over a year ago .
Looks like scrapyard or ebay if you dont wanna pay loads or just a phase 1 if you don ... |

no there easy , just pull of interior trim of boot then your see two 10mm bolts undo them then bootstrip pulls straight off . There prob is a how to .. step guide on here with pics somewhere.

could get them cheap on ebay or a scrapyard bout £10 or less , there prob not too much even at peugeot. |

prob suspension arms then {wishbones}
i really had to do mine every year for mot lol on the 206 seemed to eat through them . |

i used to have knocking noises often in my old 206 can be droplinks , suspension arms ? |

it does seem ok now topped it up bout week or so ago
hasnt gone down atall still to the max werid.

Asume so only done 4500 miles 3 months old ,
well oil hasnt got any coolant init ,
coolant actually hasnt gone down since topped up this time yet .
No sign of leaks.
seems ok now. |

ok good just checked it after driven it and freaked out cos higher than max when usually its lower than i want it lol
ok good thanks so wont hurt it to be higher than max when hot. |

i topped it up to max when cold , but now its really hot now gone higher than max ,
assume it will go back down to max when cooled down
is that normal. |

its just been in peugeot for last 4 days for the new temp sensor ,and they topped up oil and antifreeze.
If it carries on il have to go back down wanna less have to though .
