The rear door handle stopped working recently, could still open from the inside. But the kids were messing at the weekend and set the child locks. Rolling Eyes Now I can't get the door open at all.

I had the same problem, but I found, when the wife is not in the car there is no whining at all when I accelerate. Mr. Green

I had same problem.
The fix was simple, I was trying to code the new remote fob as Key One, you [b]must [/b]keep the old (non remote key) as key one and then programme the new key as Key 2.

I'd bet it is the reversing light switch on top of the gearbox. They are prone to go. Easy to test, easy to replace, not expensive from local dealer.

puggy206, thats exactly what I'd love to do. Don't know if my woodworking skills are up to it though, I'd probaly loose a couple o' fingers in the process. I like the fact that the phone is lying down ...
