It's normal, especially on petrol engines.
The running temp on mine was always around 90 (sometimes 85, some other a little bit more than 90), but after turning the engine off it went up to 100; s ... |

Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that I managed to fix the problem.
It took me a while (I'm not that good with these things) but I managed to get the display fixed.
The bulbs actually die ... |

I've double-checked everything again. The display works. It shows the right time, date and temp even after switching the engine on and off and removing the key, but it is not lit up.

Yes, I have.
It was fully working when I switched the engine off, then switched it on again, after a few seconds, and it was gone. I've checked the fuses but everything was fine...
