hi thanks for your reply and sorry for the lack of info
To clear it up the car is a:
2002 206 gti
multiplexed
the mfd has time/air temp/radio functions/mpg/range etc etc

hi
just wondering if there is anyone local to me so i can try their 206 mfd in my car, basically my backlights dont work on my mfd and before buying a new one i want to rule out any other potentia ... |

1. checked all the fuses all fine
2. changed the light bar that the bulbs twist into that also connects to the mfd board. I have run power through this seperatley using a 12v source and all three bul ... |

my multi plexed one is completely different mate there is no other side to the circuit board just white plastic will try and get a pic when i get home |

got a new bulb holder strip ( the part that the bulbs slot into and connects to the rest of the mfd ) changed the bulbs with new and guess what....................... STILL DEAD
The mfd works with ... |

ok changed back to normal bulbs and still not working, the info is there but no back lighting |

they worked at first and then died I have run 12v across them and they worked weird. Just going to try bulbs again as they all broke taking them out |

I tried to change the bulbs in my working mfd for some leds, which worked for a couple of minutes now they are all dead. The mfd info is working its just that it isn't being back illuminated. Any idea ... |
