the speedo doesn't work. do you know where it gets its signal from ? some say its got a cable, others from abs sensor and others from sensor on gearbox. any thoughts ? |

Lee Thr. thanks I found it and changed it but not been on a long drive to check it is ok now but I'm sure that what it was. thanks again for the advice and photos. one other thing. the speedo doesn't ... |

cant seem to find the crank sensor on the gearbox ? only thing I can see is a connector near the front of the car on the gearbox that looks more like a reverse switch maybe. do I need to remove anythi ... |

1999 model year 2.0 gti . car cuts out when hot and then wont start. turns over ok but doesn't fire. once it has cooled down it will start fine and drives before cutting out when it reaches temperatur ... |

the element is the same as the one that came out, that photo is of the much longer filter I believe. |

hi. no that's not what I have. there is a big spring about 25mm in diameter and a plastic cage type thing as well. its for a 206cc 1.6, 2004. all that came was the element. got it from euro car parts ... |

hi all, just got PP2000 to tryand sort out a non start situation. reads an engine ecu intermittent fault -ignition,integrated phase detection. ifi then go into PP further it is showing the info below ... |

I have tried the pp2000 program and it confirms the phase detection integrated into ignition and it also shows the ecu is locked and that no keys are synchronised. any ideas on this anyone. I must say ... |
