So today i finally got around to reading the ecu.

The error code was P1336.

The live data info was as follows, hopefully it can be translated,

Calc Load 21.96%
coolant temp 85 degrees C
stf ...

Recently the coil pack went and then ran fine once I replaced it with a new one, except for a little bit of an eratic idle which went as low as 620 and as high ...

I had the same problem, i tested the coil pack with 4 good plugs and they are sparked as they should.

I changed the plugs for bosch +4's (i think)

Then i changed the coil pack, £30 from my moto ...

I have a 2005 1.4 petrol. I went into halfords and checked there flip books and selected the correct one. I've gone to change it tonight but there isn't one, not in-line anyway.

I bought a new coil pack today as a start of the process of elimination and it is driving again.

Only now on idle it flutters between 620 and 850 revs.

Also it drops the revs slower than it did ...

How do i know or find out which engine code my car has? I'm looking for parts and some are listed by year and others say engine codes?

I've checked the log book but it just has an FSR engine numbe ...
