How can you check if it is droplinks?
What might be up with the axel? Could it be a shock absorber... kinda sound like it make the noise when the suspension compresses (arb)

I'm joining the 'warped disc' crew. I had the same noise and changing the discs fixed it. A cheap fix you can do yourself too  |

there is only one size rear discs for a pug 206. I think the 1.6 and gti / gti 180 all use the same. |
