While changing the dust cap would not quite have fixed it, it was not far off.

probably not, but now I know it can be taken off without damaging anything it will allow me to look for the cause and in turn a solution. |

Thats exactly the one.
If it is a bleed point and its spraying out would I be right in assuming its because there is to much pressure or can it literally just be a faulty valve?
