I don't really want to name company at moment as there is a 2 year warranty and would like to give them the benefit of sorting the problem via axle exchange if it is the axle again.

5/4 was the bolt that was missing a short while after the axle was replaced. I knew something was wrong because of a new rear noise. My mechanic put a new bolt in. This is the same side as the noise.

Did you get a recon axle or brand new one? My 54 plate failed MOT for rear axle last october among other things. Got a recon Axle with 2 year warranty for £200 plus £100 to fit.
