Thanks for the heads up ben. I would have thought the noise is coming from the cambelt as it picks up with the revs? Would be gutted if i got tge cambelt, tensioner and pump changed and it wasnt that! ... |

Seems to only do it ticking over from cold but can be heard under acceleration even when its up to temp. |

Its not the CV joint. It sin direct relation to the throttle as it speeds up under revs. Just been out to move my car at wokr and was doing it on idle from start up. |

Hi
It sounds like its coming from the cambelt side of the engine but I cannot determine if its from the top or bottom as it doesnt seem to do it whilst ticking over. |

Has anyone replaced/removed this? Mines had it I think as it sounds like its mixing stones lol. I have unplugged it for now but it triggers the EML. |

Go see a Mig welder dude. My mate did all 4 of mine for me by welding a normal bolt onto them. 30 mins later... job done! |

Thanks for your replies guys. The brakes on the car had been neglected by the previous owner. I think this was because the peugeot locking nuts had een rounded off and I had to get a mate whos handy w ... |
