Thanks for the replies. Will check the voltage on the 250 wire. Should I hear the relay when I press the horn button with the horn not working

Thanks again for the info.
Although the tappets are hydraulic I assume it has shims that are not correct after 125000 miles b ut since no one seems to have that trouble perhaps I should look elseware ...

If the horn on a 2003 206HDi doesn't work does it have a relay. If so should I hear it click and where is it?

I fitted new ones but the old ones were working ok. I check them after removal.

Has anyone had problems with valve clearances on a 2.0L diesel after 125000 miles. Just wondered if poor mixture could be a reason for poor cold (frosty!) starting.
