surely you can check the resistance values of the glow plugs with a simple multi meter to identify the dud plugs? |

You need to check the amperage at the starter not volts |

The shoes will have worn a lip into the drum making them hard to remove. Flat bladed screwdriver either side to remove. Make sure you grind the lip off before you put them back on. |

Heard its a pain in the a**e to replace the clutch on this car and bit of a long one. Anyone had any (nasty) experiences with it? |

Id be testing the starter motor. Use a ammeter to see how many amps its pulling, if its above the manufacturers guidelines then its at fault. |
